People of Shiloh,

“Every human being has value. This is the basis of all healthy relationships. Through living each day as it is given to me, I’ve learned that. It cannot be “taught,” but it can be “caught” from those who live their lives right along with us. What a privilege to be able to look for the good in our neighbor!”– Fred Rogers

This month we are going to be studying scriptures primarily from Acts, which goes along with our study of the gospel of Luke.  If you remember, I am challenging our congregation to read the gospel of Luke this year, from front to back.  The reason Acts pairs with Luke is that it is by the same author and continues right where Luke leaves off.

As we study the scriptures this spring, my hope is we consider how God invites us to be artful in our neighboring. Today, Matt Lundgren the Executive Director of the Montana Rescue Mission and Friendship House here in Billings will share a message with us.  I invite you to join us as we learn about neighboring our neighbors without homes that are up 28.8% from 2016-2017 and then continue to study with us as we learn to neighbor others, people different than us, our brothers and sisters and more.  Jesus guides us on this path.  It is our call to follow.

Enthusiastic Peace,

Pastor Tyler

This Spring we will be entering a time of learning about our neighbors. How to be a good neighbor, and how Christ calls us to this.  We hope you will join us for this sermon series of walking with the disciples as they learn to neighbor and call people to be neighbors in return.
