Aging Well – enriching the gift of growing older

Please mark your calendars for the Aging Well luncheon presentations that will be starting up next month. They will begin at 11:30 am this year and will again be located in our fellowship hall.
The first presentation will be held on Wednesday October 9, 2019. The remaining presentations will be held on the second Wednesday of the month, October-May. The October speaker is Al Ward, President of AARP Montana and he will provide information that will help you Recognize and Protect Yourself from FRAUD.
Other topics of interest this year will include nutrition/cooking for one; safety/fall prevention/exercise; social isolation with aging; organ donation and making our gardens pollinator friendly. We will have an interactive Christmas musical celebration scheduled for our December program!
All of these presentations are interactive, educational and fun! Everyone is welcome, so please bring family and friends. RSVPs to the church office are appreciated and assist us with our luncheon needs. Please feel free to contact the church office with any questions!

Do you have a passion for singing?

I Invite You to Join the Choir I would like to personally invite you to sing with the Shiloh UMC Choir this season. We are an open group of people who enjoy lifting our voices to enhance and guide the worship experience. Our choir members all started without knowing their part and learned by practicing Sunday mornings prior to worship. My desire for you as a choir member is that you have a beautiful learning experience, have fun (yes, we laugh plenty), and learn how to read and understand music more clearly if you don’t already know.
You won’t be required to sit with the choir the entire worship service (sit with family if you prefer), you won’t have to be in worship every single Sunday (we sing three Sundays per month), and you won’t have to make a rehearsal commitment another night each week. Rehearsals for the fall begin September 8. To participate, just show up September 8 at 9:15 am and then sing with us in worship. Hit me up if you have any questions, worries, or concerns. My email is
Will I see you and have you sing with the rest of us on September 8? I’m hoping so!

Adult Sunday School

Shiloh UMC’s Adult Sunday School meets Sundays at 9:00am in the Education Wing.
Our study presents stimulating lessons that explore the biblical message and how to apply that to daily life. The curriculum helps the Christian move from a focus on the Word to reflection on personal, family, church, and community concerns. All lessons are biblically based and Christ-focused.
We believe the best way to learn is within an atmosphere of respect and sharing, illumined by a core of our Christian faith.

Faith and Film

Faith and Film usually meets on the second Sunday of each month at 5:30pm at Shiloh UMC.  The church uses our Church Video License to hold a free monthly film screening of a popular film that explores issues of faith and spirituality. We try to show well-known films that people may not have considered from a faith perspective before. After the screening, you are invited to join in the discussion of every participant’s observations.

Click here to see the next upcoming movie, along with a list of those recently shown.

Please join our casual and friendly group for a night at the movies on the second Sunday of each month at 5:30 PM in Shiloh’s Fellowship room. Fellowship, food and engaging discussions of what we think about the movie. Bring a friend and goodies to share if you wish.
