Family Picture Parade

You will be invited to pick up Palms on March 23 at Shiloh
 
Send pictures of you and your family with palms for our Methodist virtual Sunday parade.  We ask that you submit all pictures via email to dave@davemerkel.com with the subject “Palm Sunday Picture” by Thursday March 26 at 7pm.  If you don’t get palms send your picture anyway, we want to see Methodists sharing their joy of following Jesus.
 

Praise on Wheels Parade

11:30am – March 28, 2021 at 1810 Shiloh Rd.
 
We will gather cars for a parade from Shiloh to the Zoo on March 28 at 11:30am.  Bring palm branches if you already have them or get some at the church and we will honk and wave branches shouting “HOSANNA” all the way to the zoo.
 
 
Everyone is invited to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt hosted by United Methodist Churches in Billings, Montana.  
 

 Hunt Schedule

11am – All ages(Toddler to 5th grade divided by lawn markers)
11:30am-All ages(Toddler to 5th grade divided by lawn markers)
12:00pm-All ages(Toddler to 5th grade divided by lawn markers)
 
Church members can support the hunt by donating candy to Shiloh or First UMCs by March 25.  Please make sure candy is individually wrapped and can fit in an Easter egg.  Opportunities to volunteer will be available, please contact us at 656-0050 if you are interested in volunteering.
 
 

 Comfort Food: Holy Thursday Love Feast

Join Pastor Tyler, Sarah, Wendy and Angie for a service of a love feast at a common online table.  This will be a time to remember the final Thursday meal Jesus had with his disciples, celebrate our common tie in God’s love and prepare our hearts and minds for Good Friday.  Please gather bread or a yummy baked good and some juice or water for this meal.
 
 

 Good Friday Drive-In Tenebrae Service

6:45pm in the Hope UMC parking lot at 244 Wicks Ln.
 
Join us for a drive in remembrance of that sacred and awful day that Jesus died on the cross.  Hear reflections on what it might mean for us today and what death means for a people of resurrection. Service will last approximately one hour and people will remain in their vehicles and tune to a radio station.   
 

 Easter Sunday Celebration – April 4 – Shiloh UMC

Join us at 6:30am at Riverfront Park Shelter #2 for Sunrise service.

Join First UMC for this annual tradition of greeting Easter Sunrise with hope for what the resurrection of Jesus can mean for us today.  Special thanks to Brian Hunter who organizes this event.

We invite you to join us as we hear the story of the disciples discovering Jesus at the tomb, receive a message of hope and remember our call in God’s love. 

 

Join us at 10:30 for our Drive-In Resurrection Celebration.

In worship and song we will be present for a great celebration of Christ’s redeeming, and death defying love.  This will be a great time for all ages to celebrate and join together as we hear a message that transforms us and sends us out to offer compassion and love to the world.  People will worship from their cars in the parking lot and tune in to 88.5 FM.  This promises to be a memorable and honk worthy celebration of Jesus!
